Role Permissions Matrix

This guide provides an overview of action permissions by feature. For full details, please refer to the PDF version.

Basic Principles

  • License Limits: A user's maximum permissions are determined by their license, and their actual actions are calculated by combining their license and role.
    • Note: Actions not allowed by the license cannot be executed, even if enabled in the role settings.
  • Implicit View Access: Users with "Create," "Edit," or "Delete" permissions automatically receive "View" permission in the system.
  • Inheritance Rules: If a user has "Edit" permission at the overall program level, but a specific project within that program is set to "View Only," the "View Only" setting takes precedence for that project (lower-level settings take priority).
