Integration overview
The integration feature enables data linkage with external tools to consolidate, visualize, and report on project-specific data managed elsewhere, bringing it all into PROEVER. This capability allows you to leverage PROEVER as your central management platform.
Available External Tools for Integration
Tools available for integration will be added sequentially.
Project Management Tools
Data such as project tasks and issues corresponding to PROEVER tickets can be synchronized from the following tools:
-
PROEVER Classic
-
Backlog
-
Jira
Communication Tools
-
Teams
Prerequisites
Data linkage settings using the integration feature can only be performed by users who meet the following criteria:
1. Integration from PROEVER Classic
You must meet both criteria:
-
You have an Innovator license assigned in PROEVER.
-
You have the required permission to issue a linkage key in PROEVER Classic.
2. Integration from Backlog/Jira/Teams
You must meet both criteria:
-
You have an Innovator license assigned in PROEVER.
-
You possess an account for Backlog/Jira/Teams and have been granted access permission to the specific project you wish to link data from.
Note on Access: Access permissions for the data linked to PROEVER are controlled by the PROEVER access rights.
Constraints
The following constraints apply to the data linkage process:
Data Synchronization Timing
-
Linkage processing cannot be executed at the user's arbitrary timing. The execution schedule is as follows:
-
Initial Linkage: Within 1 hour of the integration setup.
-
Subsequent Linkage: During weeknights (excluding weekends).
-
Data Editing and Maintenance
-
Integrated data cannot be edited, updated, or deleted on the PROEVER screen. Editing, updating, or deletion must be performed in the original source tool from which the data was integrated.
-
The update history of integrated data cannot be viewed on the Next-Gen PROEVER screen.
-
It is not possible to link project data from PROEVER to the integration source tool.
Project Settings and Scope
-
Once an integration is set up, the project settings cannot be changed later, with the exception of the following items:
-
Project name change
-
Adding/Removing members
-
Closing/Deleting the project
-
-
Integration settings can only be configured at the time of project creation/launch.
-
Multiple integration source projects cannot be set (i.e., only one tool/one project can be designated as the linkage source for one PROEVER project).
-
If the integration source project is deleted, the linkage will stop.
Display Limitations
-
Integrated projects will be displayed on the Master Schedule, but the progress rate of the phases cannot be displayed.
-
Integrated projects will be displayed on the Dashboard, but some categories will not be aggregated.
Projects with integration configured will display an Integration Icon (
) when viewing the Dashboard or Master Schedule, allowing them to be distinguished from projects without integration set up.
