# Updating ticket status does not automatically update progress rate

## If the progress rate is not updating automatically, the "Start Date" and "Due Date" may not be set.

The system requires both "Start Date" and "Due Date" to calculate and update progress automatically. Please try the following steps:

1. Enter the "Start Date" and "Due Date" for the ticket.
2. Update the status again.
