# Setting IP Address Restrictions

 Access to Workspace Settings is controlled by your license. If you are unable to perform an intended operation, please contact a user with an **Innovator license** and request a license plan change.

This feature allows you to **restrict access based on the source IP address** of the connection.

You can set this up using the following steps:

1. Click your **workspace name** in the top-right corner of the screen, then click **\[Workspace\]**.
2. Click the **lock icon** next to **\[Allowed IP Addresses\]** and turn **ON** the **\[Restrict IP Addresses\]** toggle.
3. Enter the IP addresses you wish to allow.

Your **current IP address** is displayed on the pop-up screen. After saving the settings, you **will not be able to log in** if you attempt to access the system from an unlisted IP address.
