Enabling or Disabling Automatic Ticket Updates

You can flexibly configure the scope of automatic updates to suit your project operations.

You can choose whether to enable or disable specific features that trigger automatic updates when a ticket is modified.

Configurable Items

  1. Automatic status updates in parent-child relationships
    When the status of the ticket is changed, the status of the parent and child tickets are also automatically updated.
  2. Automatic progress rate updates in parent-child relationships
    When the progress rate of a child ticket is changed, the progress rate of the parent ticket is automatically updated. While this setting is ON, the progress rate of the parent ticket cannot be edited directly.
  3. Automatically update progress rate based on status
    The progress percentage is automatically updated in accordance with the status change of the ticket.
  4. Automatically update achievement dates based on status
    When the status of the ticket is changed, the actual start and end dates are automatically updated.
  5. Automatic date updates based on dependencies
    When the duration of a preceding task changes, the start and end dates of subsequent tasks are automatically slid and adjusted.
  6. Automatic date updates in parent-child relationships
    When the start or end date of a child ticket is changed, the start and end dates of the parent ticket are automatically updated. While this setting is ON, the start and end dates of parent tickets with child tickets cannot be edited directly.

 

How to Configure

These settings can only be managed by users who hold an Innovator or Leader license and have Edit permissions for the project.

  1. Click Settings > Auto-Update in the side menu.

  2. Toggle the desired settings to ON or OFF.
