How is progress calculated?
PROEVER tracks progress at two levels: the overall dashboard progress and the progress of individual tickets.
Types of Progress Rates
There are two main types of progress rates available:
| Category | Description |
| Dashboard Progress | Automatically calculates overall progress and progress against the schedule based on individual ticket data. |
| Ticket Progress |
Automatically populated based on the ticket's status. Note: Manual updates are also partially supported. |
How Progress Rates are Calculated
1.Dashboard Progress Calculation
For each ticket type, PROEVER automatically determines the progress rates displayed in the Dashboard's Project List.
| Item | Description | Caluculation Method |
| Overall |
Represents the percentage of completed tickets out of all registered tickets. |
Actual Completed / Total Tickets (Actual Completed: Number of tickets with a "Completed" status category) |
| Planned |
Calculates the percentage of completed tickets compared to those due by today. |
Actual Completed / Scheduled Completed (Scheduled Completed: Number of tickets with a due date on or before today) |
| Delayed | Calculates the percentage of incomplete tickets among those that have already reached their due date. |
Overdue Tickets / Scheduled Completed (Overdue: Tickets with a status other than "Completed" and a due date in the past) |
2.Ticket Progress Caluculation
Prerequisites:
-
Ticket progress can be entered only when both the Start Date and Due Date are set.
-
If the progress field is not visible, it may be hidden by your current settings. Please go to the Side Menu > [Classification] settings menu to check the display settings for the progress field.
2.1 Ticket Progress for Waterfall Projects
The calculation method varies depending on whether parent-child relationships (subtasks) are present.
| Subtasks | Description | Caluculation Method |
| None (No Subtasks)P |
Progress is automatically applied based on the ticket's status. |
|
| Exists (With Subtasks) |
The parent ticket's progress is automatically calculated as a weighted average of the subtasks' progress based on their Duration. |
